Shalom !
I just finished listening to the audio on Noach and Naama. Wow, you speak words that are dear to my heart and mind. I had read from another Rebinitz in this regard (not using Noach/Naama), but rather using Manoach and his wife, that history in Tanach repeats inself and that each succeeding generation has the opportunity to correct the error of the past generations. And, that when you mentioned about us women "going through the fire", and the hard times, troubles etc that we endure, and that we are being molded/shaped to save the world.............YES! It is a concept I was unable to understand via other religious experiences, until I came to Judaism, and I am learning to convert and it is such an exciting journey ! My own life parallels that of Naama, BAD relatives (father), and so forth, and bad experiences/bad marraige, on and on. Yes, still, Hashem has pulled me through all of this, called me to Himself through His Torah, "tried me in the fire" , and is bringing me day by day, closer to Himself.....WOW, it is soooooooooo awesome a journey. And, I am not Jewish by birth, but feel my soul and heart are Jewish, and I am moving closer to Judaism more and more as time goes by. Toddah rabbah for your sharing, to give encouragement to all women, that they may KNOW that they CAN endure, they CAN change themselves, their families, and the world by being righteous and by following Hashem's Torah in their lives. I so much enjoyed this audio and will listen to more ! I wish more righteous Torah observant women would teach what you are teaching !!
Shalom U'Brachot !

This is such a beautiful anecdote. It gave me chills.
I was at the kotel today and, interestingly enough, I also saw a bride giving out brachas, which I found very inspiring, and I also came across a group of young boys having a Chumash party!
Although, I didn't see any celebrities, the comparison you made here (lehavdil) has given me a new way of looking at and internalizing my kotel visits!

I would like to thank whomever wrote this article. I am a graphic artist, and I was recently asked to create 12 images, each portraying one of the twelve Shevatim. For Levi I had decided to create an image of the Choshen. I researched books and images on the web, each one contradicting each other of what the colors were and what it looked like. Your Dvar Torah is the first informative and helpful source of information that I came across on the web. Thank you so much!

Dear Mrs. Silber,

I finally have the chance to check our your website which you mentioned in a class one night. I thought it would be a nice chance to comment on how appreciative I am of all your amazing shiurim that I'm blessed to go to almost every night. I especially love learning about the current events through the Torah lens, and hearing about the emuna and love of Hashem of King David. Your website is really amazing and yesher koach!!! Have a great Shabbos Kodesh.

Your talmida,

Dear Ms Silber

I found your link while looking at the Simchat Shlomo website, which looks really interesting. I was in Israel last year for 3 months doing some sem.hopping and learning, but unfortunately did not get a chance to come and visit Simchat Shlomo, but hopefully I will be back later this year, if all goes according to plan and of course G-d's will!
I have a question for you: I am a documentary filmmaker and am thinking about making a documentary (if it gets picked up by our local tv broadcaster in South Africa - I am writing from Cape Town) about Jewish healing/ healing Jewishly.
So naturally I am very interested in your course on Torah and healing that you give at Simchat SHlomo.
If I were to ask: "what is the Jewish way to heal?" How would you answer?
I want to make a program (G-d willing)that offers ways of Torah into healing both physically and spiritually/ emotionally, as of course they are inextricably linked. I am looking for practical, hands-on modalities that are rooted in Torah and our rich Jewish heritage, not just in a blanket mitzvot observance kind of way ie observe the mitzvot and you will lead a healthy lifestyle and wont be in need of healing kind of approach; I am looking at the finer details of Jewish approach to healing and wellness and wholeness, in a practical way, not philosophical or parsha-based, although of course we can learn a lot from both. I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas and do hope to hear from you soon, and to meet you, hopefully later this year.
I spent 3 months in Israel from July looking for the right place to learn, and after looking at the Simchat SHlomo website now that I am back in SA, I wonder how I didn't make it there last year! It sounds so like the kind of environment that would support and nurture my lines of inquiry and searching.
Best wishes, and I hope to listen to your audio shiurim soon - thankyou.
best wishes
Jeanette
